It was a wonderful day. I really enjoyed myself. I love to cook and you inspired me to be a bit more adventurous. Planning to debone something soon!!! You have a fab house too and Rosie was so well behaved. A real sweetie. I am spreading the news so I hope you will get a few more clients after my recommendations. I would love to come back. In fact if there‘s a spare room I could just move in!!!!
Sally, Monday, 5 December
Yes it was another great day and enjoyed it very much, but ashamed to say Ken had beans on toast for his supper last night as after having such a relaxing day out I didnt feel like spoiling the mood, I Will have to make up for it next week!! I am sure you must have been exhausted and hope you relaxed but didn't sound like you were going to get the chance. Can you bottle whatever you are on as I am sure you would make a fortune!!
Cath, Friday, 2 December
Thank you for a great day! I'm cooking the venison dish for this evening and I'm sure I'll work my way through the rest over Christmas. Hope to see you again. Nadolig Llawen Kate and Clive!!

Thanks for a fabulous inspiring day, we all enjoyed it very much. Catherine has made chockie bombs and Bev has invaded Sainsburys and is already a third of the way down the menu!!! I am waiting to get pink peppercorns and gellatine strips before I start my cullinery adventures.
Anyway, Iain wants to have a go as soon as you get back in March, so let me know your dates and we will rustle up a party. Have a great Christamas and a Happy New Year to you, Clive and Rosie.
Lynne, Saturday, 26 November
I thoroughly enjoyed the day, you were great fun and very interesting. I think it would be fair to say you were an inspiration to us all with your boundless energy and enthusiasm. I'm not much of a cook, but I came away from your lovely home promising myself that I was going to give some of those recipes a go - watch this space! I very much hope to return for another day of entertainment and good food, so please tell you lovely husband Clive to keep my special spoon clean.
Fiona, Saturday, 26 November
Just wanted to say how much I enjoyed today - a fab-a-lus day for cooks and humans alike - so inspired and have come home clutching my recipes ready to start on the Christmas Balls this very evening.

Thank you once again - I will put a little note on our Facebook page about it.
Catherine, Saturday, 26 November
Thank you for such a fantastic day last Friday. Superb food, great company, what more could anyone want? You and Clive worked so hard. Once again thank you so much. I look forward to coming again.
Philippa, Friday, 25 November
I cannot tell you how much I enjoyed the whole day. I have spent the last two days telling everyone, so hopefully your business will be booming.
I have always steered away from Shell fish, but really enjoyed that course and as a result - I WILL TRY a restaurant meal - next time. As for my wife, she was spoilt rotten on Sunday - Pea and Rocket soup - Poached COD and home made cream Sponge.(All by my fair hand - but second division compared to your meals)
You put so much positive energy into the whole day - I would find it difficult for anyone to walk away disappointed.
BUT - I hope Clive has had the Chance to put his feet up . (Us men must stick together)
Neil, Sunday, 23 October
Today was such fun - Tracy and I really enjoyed ourselves and shall return!! As always your recipes are amazing and I am already looking for suitable guinea pigs!! The company was good too - I can't believe Gloria was there. What a coincidence that I met her in the shop only last week!!

Many thanks for a Fab'lous time spent with all of you. The three of us are still talking of the skill, speed, dexterity and deliverance you put forth. Une Grande Merci Beaucoup.
Gaynor, Andrea and Sue, Thursday, 6 October
We had a super day-haven't stopped talking about it. The aprons have already been put to good use-now trying to persuade the others Chamonix would be good for extending our culinary repartoire-but probably not so good for the waistlines!! Thanks for a lovely day
Philippa, Wednesday, 5 October
I hope you are well. I had such a great time at Chez Kate I have told everyone about it.
Alaina, Tuesday, 4 October
I enjoyed it immensely, thanks. As I said on leaving, I couldn't have had a better present for my retirement. I'll certainly be back for another go!
Dianne, Sunday, 2 October
I thoroughly enjoyed my day with you - thankyou very much. I have always wanted to be involved with a professional chef at work and hopefully learn a few tips. You achieved so much with us and to sit down and sample all those gorgeous ideas was heaven. I will look forward to joining you again in one of our visits here and in the meantime I will tell all my friends who like cooking, what they are missing. Lovely to meet Rosie too - she is a good dog. Love and best wishes
Judy, Saturday, 1 October
ust wanted to say thank you for such a lovely day - everyone thoroughly enjoyed. All the girls remarked on how beautiful you house and view are and how delicious the food was. You were the perfect hosts! Lots of the girls were talking about recommending the course or coming back with other friends or family. Thanks again for making it such a great (and delicious) day,
Laura, Monday, 9 May
Thank you both for a truly enjoyable day. You seemed to pack so much in to the experience and also dispelled a few myths! Everything seemed to work like clockwork with Clive behind the scenes and Kate juggling with saucepans and many dishes all at the same time!
Janice and Peter, Leicester, Monday, 9 May
Thank you (and Clive and Rosie) very much for a thoroughly enjoyable day. Everything about the day was great - the food, ambience and informality of your hosting and teaching. I have yet to re-create anything we learned on Saturday but have proudly worn my apron! I've recommended the experience to several friends and hope to visit again in the future.
Frances, Wednesday, 4 May
Fran and I had a great day - thoroughly enjoyed - thanks very much - you and Clive (and Rosie) were excellent hosts and it was a pleasure to be in such a beautiful setting. You have given me the encouragement I needed to dust down my pasta machine and start making pasta - my first attempts a few years ago were not very successful - but the ravioli we had on Saturday was delicious so I feel inspired to try again! Andrew now has major brownie points - he booked the course for me and it was probably one of the best presents he has bought me (I usually have to tell him what I want - so it was great that he actually surprised me with something I really loved). Fran and I would definitely be interested to attend another course in the future.
Ann, Tuesday, 3 May
Thank you for a great day, I really enjoyed the intensity of the day combined with the light hearted feeling in the kitchen. Lots of learning and fun for all, I am amazed at how you maintain your level of concentration throughout whilst having to cope with chatter, flip comments and serious questions. I will not now be afraid to attempt pasta soon. Who is this Jamie Oliver anyway!! Finally to sit and enjoy the delicious results of your skilled work with a glass of rather good wine brought the fab day to a delightful end. Clive once again played a magnificent part with Rosie by his side. Thank you both so much for the photographs and I hope to see you again soon.
Pat, Tuesday, 5 April
